Farnborough North End hosted their Match Day Lunch today, on Saturday at the clubs' home league fixture against Hythe & Dibden. Over 35 guests sat down for a 3 course meal before enjoying the game. Many would have been disappointed to see the team lose after having a lot of chances in the game but the crowd kept the subs warm with their pantomime booing and air horns! The club managed to raise nearly £350 from the day and raised awareness in the club with a number of prospective sponsors. Again thanks to Steve Goble and his band of helpers for a wonderful day.

That was until the 81st minute when they escaped getting an equiliser, then the winner on 90 minutes. Heartbreak for North End who deserved to get something from the game after Richard Hale put them infront on 72 minutes. |
